Product safety is an ongoing responsibility of retailers and manufacturers. If you’ve ever heard someone say that “one unsafe product can ruin your whole business,” then you're reading the right article!

One of the most important things to keep in mind about product safety is keeping records. You might have a great 30-day return policy when customers buy from your store, but what happens if it comes back broken or damaged? It could be tough to trace who was at fault—you or the customer--if there are no records. Keeping good records will help protect against false claims and wasted time on investigations later on; not to mention providing peace of mind for yourself as well!

Another thing to note about product safety is that the responsibility doesn't just fall on you as a retailer. Manufacturers are equally responsible for ensuring they're producing safe products, and need to keep up-to-date with new regulations. One of these good habits involves providing your suppliers or distributors with certificates of analysis when necessary; it's one way to show them that you have all their bases covered!
